The Three-Day Detox Diet

Looking for a weight loss diet, there are some that preach eating the correct foods immediately and adjusting your lifestyle to eating right and daily exercise. But for some diets, its about avoiding foods that can literally lead to toxins and chemicals in one’s system.
In our body, our organs such as the kidneys, the liver and lungs are known to be important for filtering out the waste and separating, neutralizing and disposing of the toxins. But when there is an abundance of toxins accumulating in our body, it can release chemicals in the body that can mutate into cancer and/or degenerative diseases.
So, with many diets preaching to be selective of what we eat, that is definitely important because what you put in, there is no removing it. The only successful way to improving situations in the body after years of eating bad foods is simply to go on a detox program such as the three day detox diet to rid the body of its impurities.
By selecting the three day detox diet, not only are you on your way to flushing out the toxins but also renewing cells and strengthening the body’s immune system and effectively eliminating the bad toxins.
Example of a Three-Day Detox Diet
An example is by starting the morning with three cups of warm water with a 1/2 lemon squeezed and this will help stimulate gastric juices I the body. Replacing coffee, tea and other beverages with this drink can definitely be helpful.
When you prepare your meals, it’s good to incorporate a cup of whole grains such as brown rice, buckwheat, amaranth and up to three servings of fruits and vegetables. Raw vegetables such as carrots, celery and cauliflower are what is recommended. For salads, it is good to choose natural oils such as olive, coconut virgin or fish oil. Also, vinegar is fine.
Also within the three-day detox diet, many diets recommend a dose of kidney and liver tonic. Consumption is only just two doses over three days and there are a variety of tonics such as a clove of fresh garlic, chamomile or fennel tea. Another is the use of vegetable juice such as carrot or beet root, black grapes, two cups of parsley or yellow tea.
For beverages, it’s important to drink up to eight cups of water. Fresh fruit juices are allowable. And before going to sleep, it’s recommended to drink a cup of herbal tea. By increasing fluid intake, you effectively flush out harmful toxins and waste.
And similar to most diets, this detox diet is helped by combining exercise such as a 30-minute workout, which can include a 30-minute walk. During the three-day detox diet, you may notice that you lost several pounds and you have much more energy.
Of course, like any diet, it’s important to consult your physician, especially if you have been diagnosed with a health condition. But if you are good to go, then try the three-day detox diet and eliminate those impurities.
